Welcome to our online grant application site. Here you can apply for a Community Priorities Grant, Rural Life Grant, or a Youth in Action Grant.

Community Priorities Grants
We now require each applicant to first submit a brief description of their project to ensure that it is eligible for funding. Once we have reviewed your description and deemed it eligible, you can then fill in the remainder of the application form.

Prior to filling out your application, please read through our Grant Application Guidelines to determine if your organization and project are eligible to apply for a Community Priorities Grant.

Rural Life Grants
The Henry S. Varley Rural Life Fund was established with the goal of forever maintaining and improving the quality of life in southwestern Alberta communities. The Community Foundation invites proposals throughout the year for Rural Life Fund Grants. We are in the beginning stages of developing this granting program and intend to keep the criteria as open as possible. However, proposals for capital expenses such as new construction, renovations, large equipment items, and vehicles will not be funded. These types of requests can be submitted through our Community Priorities Granting Program.
